In agreement with traditional family values, abstinence is the expected standard for teens prior to marriage. . Project Respect promotes abstinence in order to help students pursue their dreams and protect themselves from the consequences of sexual activity outside of marriage.
Teacher Training: We offer in-services to equip teachers, counselors and other youth workers to share the important message of abstinence until marriage with their students.
Curricula: We provide workbooks (at our cost) and teacher resources for two main sets of curricula - Choosing the Best, which comes in four levels for grades 6-12, as well as Game Plan for junior high and Navigator for high school.
Brochures and Pamphlets: We also provide up-to-date materials with information on abstinence education, STDs, pregnancy, prenatal development, abortion risks, and more.
Video Library: Our videos can be used as supplements to assist teachers in classroom presentations. We have videos that address teen pregnancy, abstinence, STD's, abortion, etc. A current list of available videos is provided upon request, and all videos are loaned free of charge for classroom use.
